Ainda há umas horas escrevi sobre a Sega Mega Drive Collection para a PS2 e PSP e acabo de receber um press release da Sega a anunciar que vão lançar a Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection para a PS3 e Xbox 360.
Desenvolvido pela Backbone Entertainment, este título conta com mais de 40 clássicos, tornando-se a maior compilação de jogos da Sega lançada até hoje. Ainda não há informação de todos os títulos incluídos, mas alguns já se conhecem: Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 e 3, Columns, Alien Storm, Ecco the Dolphin, Space Harrier e Streets of Rage 1, 2 e 3.

Todos os títulos serão em 720P à semelhança dos clássicos da Sega já disponiveis na Xbox 360 Live Arcade e estará no mercado no ínicio de 2009 em todo o mundo.
Como bónus, serão incluídos nesta colecção alguns títulos da Sega Master System. Esperemos que estes títulos da Master System não contem para os 40 títulos anunciados
