100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience

For me as a gamer, the arcades are one of the greatest symbols of gaming. A few years ago, long before consoles appear in our homes, in the arcades was that we could actually try a game with excellent quality. Who does not remember his first game of Street Fighter or his first lap in a circuit Sega Rally?!

In Portugal the arcade, or "gaming machines" as they were known, no longer exist. You can also find a games room or another, but not as many as existed in the 80 or 90. And although this is a global phenomenon, Japan keeps alive the tradition of arcades. New games are released every year, some of them converted to consoles, but many do not even get to see the light of day outside the land of the rising sun.

These gentlemen are producing a documentary about Japanese arcades and after seeing the trailer just wish they end as soon as possible!
