One of the greatest classic arcade game by Taito, Puzzle Bobble (or Bust-A-Move as is known in the U.S.) is already available in the U.S. iTunes Application Store. The rest of the market will still have to wait a few days, but the trailer we can see an excellent adaptation of the game mechanics for the touch screen of the iPhone / iPod Touch.
Sonic CD was one, if not the best Sonic the era of 16-Bit. The opinion is general and Christian Whitehead agreed. That's why I went to work and created a version of Sonic CD for the iPhone, root, Retro Engine running on an engine built for it. Christian actually intended that show the Sega classic games you may have to run without being emulated on the iPhone, taking advantage of the capabilities of the device over, getting framerates of 60 frames per second and an unwavering gameplay.
By the way, games that Sega would like to have on your iPhone / iPod Touch?
Update: The videos and the page that this post link stopped working, it seems that something happened and something that involved the Sega since the Sega blog post I mentioned earlier was also removed.
Taito released today for the iPhone / iPod Touch Space Invaders Infinity Gene, title to date only available for phones in the land of the rising sun. Unlike Space Invaders Extreme, Infinity Gene is not as graphically pleasing to the eye, is actually closer to the original Space Invaders with its 80's style vector graphics, the acid trip that we can experience with Extreme.
However, Infinity Gene takes the saga to other flights, literally, that is, for the first time in a title Space Invaders saga no longer limited to the X axis and the spacecraft can maneuver freely on the screen more in the style of a shooter. Once again, our hopes are waves and waves of enemies, some known but most quite different than found so far in the various titles in the series.
The name comes from Gene Inifinity fact that there is a "tree" that will evolve as we catch powerups and level. The various stages of evolution of the tree will change the way we played, giving the other styles of weapons, speed and other capabilities.
Another highlight of the game is the soundtrack, the purest style electro, 100% fits the gameplay, however we can choose our own music library on iPhone / iPod Touch to the soundtrack.
With 36 official levels, Inifinty Gene gives us a few hours of play, especially with the evolution of the levels which makes the game almost infinite. A treat for all fans of Space Invaders!
