Blip Festival is an annual event in New York, bringing together the best artists of chiptunes / chipmusic scene. The schedule for this year is already online but as it is most likely only have something of this kind in Portugal many years from now, stay with a documentary about the festival last year.

With the 50th. anniversary of the release of Kind of Blue, one of, if not the best and legendary Miles Davis album, some of the most respected artists in the chiptune scene did a tribute to Davis, playing some of the songs on the album's lo-fi 8-bit, result is seen (or heard) and is remarkable. Best of all is that the "album" can be purchased for only $ 5. Of course, for admirers and fans of Miles Davis, the project Kind of Bloop can be seen as a great heresy, but it is said that art is above all a form of flattery, this is controversial or not.
