Remember Shinobi? The first adventure of Joe Musashi is one of the most famous titles from Sega Master System and arcade in the 80s. Guess what? Sega now has a prequel to the original Shinobi for the Nintendo 3D, telling the story of Jiro Musashi's father, Joe.

The gameplay is the usual with some improvements contained in a system of combos and melee attacks or distance. It is best to see that the trailer for this adventure 2.5D.

Shinobi comes out in September for the Nintendo 3DS!

Wii Dragon Quest Collection - First Images

Square Enix today released the first images of the Wii Dragon Quest Collection , relating to the securities Famicom & Super Famicom Dragon Quest I, II and III. It seems that the games are exact copies of the originals, adapted to run on Wii, no extra change.

The details revealed in Famitsu magazine clearly indicate that the collector's edition of this collection will not see the light of day in the world, is completely awesome, just to the ultimate fans of Japanese Dragon Quest. Pray from leaking there a little:

  • the collection is a treasure chest of real wood
  • the size of the chest and of + / - 90cm by 60 cm
  • stuffed plush slimes and other merchandising
  • the chest is sold with a copy of another Dragon Quest III in 1998
  • 365.400 yen or costs only € 3160
  • available in the Square Enix Character Goods Shop Show Case

We can only hope for more news on this issue, especially about his possible release in the West. Of course we will not have to edit bau wood, but in at least one card with a picture of a slime was interesting ;)

Then stay with the screenshots of Dragon Quest Wii Collection!

PSP Remaster

Sony introduced a new set of selected titles of PSP that will be converted to the Playstation 3 with graphics in HD, DualShock 3 compatibility, support for 3D and some exclusive extras PSP Remaster these new versions.

One of the most interesting aspects of these games is the connectivity between the original game on PSP and PS3 Remaster through the existing Ad-Hoc Party, thus allowing multiple players to play the same game on a PSP and PS3 in the other.

The Remaster PSP titles will be released either in Bluray format or digital format, one of the first titles available to Monster Hunter Portable 3rd from Capcom, one of the best selling PSP titles in Japan, now renamed Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Rev.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver is planned for release in Japan this summer already, with no provision for release in Europe and U.S., which is normal since the PSP version has not been released outside of Japan

News are not exactly retro, but many good games are likely to appear in this new format for the PS3. Who does not want to play a Final Fantasy Dissidia and Crisis Core on PS3? And a Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Peace Walker? No doubt we will see major PS3 titles on the PSP. Should be guaranteed the two God of War PSP :)

More coming soon!

Sonic Generations

There is nothing new that Sega has done evil enough to your pet. In recent times, most Sonic games have been of average quality, largely by two factors: a poor transition from 2D to 3D format and the abandonment of the original gameplay that gave fame to the Sonic games on the Mega Drive. Sega tried to redeem himself with Sonic 4 Episode 1 and failed again , but seems to have learned from their mistakes.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonic, Sega announced a few months ago a new title, revolutionary they said, that would please the fans of Sonic of all generations. The teaser trailer shows Sonic the current generation, tall, lean and green eyes side by side with his alter ego classic, lower fat and dark eyes. The Sonic Mega Drive, 2D, Sonic we are used. There followed a few more videos of the game, promising the return of classic gameplay, but as always, stood behind me not to disappoint and waited to see more ...

Today my friends, not purposely, had a birthday gift from Sega. The first real gameplay videos were shown and could not be better. The gameplay of "Sonics" this generation is there, improved, but the icing on the cake is the classic gameplay that is finally adapted to the current generation of consoles. Finally managed to bring Sega Sonic 3D conditions. Watch the videos below and pick up your jaw off the floor. I'm already counting down to go to this Sonic Generations.

Sega takes my money! You did it!

Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Chuck Taylors

If there is a model which can be considered tennis retro Chuck Taylors are better known as Converse Star. Who has not used a while All Star Kid probably lived in a cave or walked barefoot : D

Jokes Silly aside to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario, Nintendo in conjunction with Converse, launched in Japan two models of All-Stars with a very own, not only in tennis itself, but also the packaging, as is typical of Nintendo.

The result is obvious and almost makes you want to go to Japan to get a few pairs ... Oh how much fanboyisse compel!
