Microsoft @ E3

XBOX 360

Being direct and easy here is the best presentation of Microsoft's E3:

  • Xbox Live support for Last.fm , Facebook and Twitter with full integration with the console.
  • Halo ODST and Halo Reach. The first comes out later this year, just to Reach 2010.
  • Metal Gear Solid Rising - confirmed so far for the XBOX 360, but is not indicated as unique. Raiden confirmed as main character!
  • Christmas Project - an innovative device that detects motion in 3D, recognizes faces and voice, complete control of all games released for the XBOX360 so far and in the future.
  • Games on Demand - buying games / download directly from the console.
  • Expansion features of Avatars - a future upgrade will allow purchase new clothing and accessories for the avatars of the XBOX360, and a bonus system included in the games that reward players with content for avatars.
  • Zune HD Zune Video - "Store" for HD video stream videos, instant access without waiting.
  • Of securities with better presentation had Splinter Cell Conviction , Shadow Complex and Left4Dead 2 .

Personally I was expecting more, I was surprised just Natal, the innovation potential and promise. The live demo of the product was not much further than the Sony's EyeToy does have a few good years, but the video that shows what Microsoft intends to do very impressed with the product.

Kojima was a surprise, although it was expected something like this since last year as Microsoft did the same with Square / Final Fantasy XIII. With these titles, Microsoft will ensure the growth of the Xbox as a platform and eliminates some distance between the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Who Loses in the midst of all this is that Nintendo sees Wii threatened by innovative control systems similar to what was different from other competitors. Let's see how it goes tomorrow at Nintendo's press conference, and Wednesday to Sony, we still have some surprises.
