Trigger Happy Free

Steven Poole was in Edge Magazine columnist for a long time and has released several books related to video games.

Steven decided (driven by the launch of Amazon's Kindle as himself says) to offer free one of her books in ebook format - Trigger Happy, released in 2000.

As he mentions in his blog:

Trigger Happy is a book about the aesthetics of videogames - What They share with cinema, the history of painting, or literature, and What Makes Them different, in terms of form, psychology and semiotics.

It seems to me a good reading is free and is released with a Creative Commons license. Trigger Happy has just been voted the book on my weekend :)

I apologize to the 10 people who still visit this blog daily for the lack of updates that he has suffered. In fact my availability has not been much I have spent the little "leisure time" that I have for other activities. However, during this time have been accumulated drafts and topics for future posts here on 8BR. From a review to the PS3 (yes, finally bought one) to a "special" Super Mario Galaxy (simply superb) that made me take a break in a season of PS3 gaming. I also almost out, a few photos of Spectrums were sent to me in response to a request for some time and some reviews of classic games to Wii VC and Spectrum. Now I have to drop the Super Mario Galaxy and get a little time to organize it all.
